Description
The Liberia 5 Dollar banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Liberia in 2016 featuring a portrait of 5th president, Edward James Roye on its obverse. The reverse of this purple banknote depicts the bank seal with crossed kissi money and the front and back of a 1969 50-cent coin. It also shows a 5-pointed star and a woman harvesting rice. The banknote is 133 x 66 mm in size and bears a 3-mm wide windowed security thread that shifts color when titled. It also has a watermark that bears the coat of arms of Liberia with an electrotype CBL. This paper bill carries the signature of Lusinee Camara and Milton Weeks and is in uncirculated condition.
